For the second consecutive year we sent an email to Santa to make a stop at our house a week early for the second consecutive year, the fund agreed-on will do a favor, and has a home less on Christmas Eve. Over time we won, we made the trip probably our last great American adventure. Destinations: Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon.
The trip did not start well meteorologically speaking. We left at 7 pm from Chicago and had been snowing all day. As we approached the gate, we saw that almost all flights had one or two hours late, and I must admit that when I saw that our flight would leave on time, I outlined a little smile inside, thinking "heh, heh, suckers ...". Little did it before us: first, waiting to shower the plane with a dose of antifreeze and then make an eternal queue to take off on the only track that was open to traffic. The problem is that as long time in frozen wings ... and "parking" again, to wait until we play again turn to shower. Then a new line to come out and, finally, THREE HOURS LATER THE TIME, to take off. Moral: Do not voléis with snow if it is not essential and I laugh jamais outside of delays.
