As I said in previous post, the weather did not help that we started the trip the right foot. Well, the day we arrived in Las Vegas precipicitaciones broke the record set out in a day and dating back to 1959. What's worse is that the next day it rained more. But we are not here to complain of the time, nor that Lugo did not rain. We'll tell you what we saw.
Las Vegas, as you know, is a paradise for light bulbs and neon, the Eden of the excesses and tacky, but precisely because it is charming. What you need to do is basically in two areas: Fremont Street, where the Fremont St Experience, and the avenue known popularly as The Strip.
Fremont St Experience is at the heart of the city, in the area where they established the first hotels and casinos, and is known for housing that serves giant video screen for audiovisual performances that put every bit. On the first day we walked there and hallucinate a lot. However, they also discovered that the cover (grid) does not protect the llluvia.
Las Vegas Boulevard, avenue known as The Strip, is the place where all the casinos that we all recognize in so many movies and series. In fact, the word casino is not the best to talk about these places, I almost defined as theme parks with hotel and casino inside.
In the photo above you can see a small part of the interior of The Venetian: a channel with its gondola (there were several) and the gondolier singing love songs in Italian. But the channel was not the only surprise. Look at this:
it may seem otherwise, all you see is the inside of the hotel-casino-city-state.
Others are not far behind: from Roman palaces ( Caesar's Palace) to the Egyptian pyramids ( Luxor -eye, nothing to do with the business located on the road Meira), or the very Eiffel Tower ( Paris Las Vegas ). Our hotel, the Stratosphere , boasted the tallest tower west of the Mississippi. And not content with that, set up an amusement park on top, not suitable for all stomachs.
