Ben10 Alien Force Ep 43

One of the things we like about living here is what community spirit. While it is true that in many respects this is a very individualistic society, the fact remains that other things are used to pitch in and lend a hand. It is something that at first, from our European perspective, hits a little. We are accustomed to government we get everything done. Here's more the feeling of being orphaned of father and mother (read status, autonomy, municipality, etc) and therefore people have to fend for help, making fundraisings , etc.

As an example of This collaborative spirit, we will tell you that yesterday we built a playground in the courtyard of my school. The funds to buy the swings were carried out by various organizations and labor was entirely voluntary. There were over 400 people who donated part of his time (from 6.30 to 3) to contribute to the cause. There were jobs for all tastes and ages: from putting screws, cast concrete, delivering food and beverage, paint, babysitting ... All this over 30 degrees in the shade around midday. Here's a
link to local newspaper story.

Of course, like any occasion when more than ten people meet air free around here, there was music: first a local DJ, then a group of school profs, and finally a group of Latin music. The first and the last I have no photos, but the second I have a visual record that I leave here to judge for yourselves. Do not be too hard, who know nothing about music. They are also all very nice people, especially the red jersey of the Chicago Fire.
